Permaculture in Five Days
Want more than an intro but don’t have time for a full design course? This course is designed for busy people who can't take the time to do a full design course but want to go deeper than an introduction weekend.

Permaculture in 5 days explores the principles and practice of permaculture in an intensive course.  The packed itinerary includes a tour of
The Sustainability Centre ‘s forest gardens, education projects, woodlands, grey water systems,  and the Permaculture Magazine’s bookshop. We’ll also be spending an afternoon in  Ben Law's  woodland looking at established coppice systems, huge range of forestry products and his now famous roundwood timber house.

The course includes workshops, talks, slide shows, discussions, observation walks, films, activities and practical design skills. It culminates in a group design project enabling you to put everything you've learned into practice. There’ll be plenty of time to relax round the campfire in the evening after a shared meal.

You can choose to camp or share a twin room in the eco-hostel. For a couple of days we’ll be studying in The Woodland Classroom - a beautiful new timber frame building built by Ben Law last year.
